How far will
you travel to shoot a wedding?
If your wedding takes place outside of a 30-mile radius
of Wilmore or Lexington, we charge a per-mile rate.
Should the distance be great enough we may have to
include a modest lodging rate. You will want us well-rested!
How early do we need to
reserve your services?
We only accept a limited number of bookings per year
(about one per month), so the earlier you inquire,
the better. However, it doesn't hurt to check last-minute
in case of cancellations.
Will we meet in person
before the wedding date?
We prefer to meet you in person before the wedding
day! So much can be covered through a one-on-one appointment
in terms of us understanding your expectations. However,
we have filmed numerous weddings without face-to-face
meetings ahead of time. Whether we meet in person,
exchange e-mails, or chat over the phone, we'll collect
the information we need to draw up a contract so we're
all on the same page.
The most popular a la carte` feature
is the Video Guestbook. The video guestbook
is a great way to help you remember who attended your
wedding! Plus, you will undoubtedly capture some priceless
words of love or advice from a beloved family member
or friend. We set up a backdrop and light kit in a
designated area at your reception where your guests
may voluntarily leave their thoughts for you on camera.
(We don't go from table to table and stick a microphone
in your guests' faces and get those "deer in
the headlights" kind of looks.) If there are
folks that you want to be sure participate (e.g. grandparents),
let them know your wishes ahead of time so they can
be sure to prepare their thoughts. To guarentee the
best participation we suggest you have your emcee
or DJ announce this activity.
